Proverbs 17:9

He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.

The person who sins against someone tries to cover his sin because he seeks love.

But if that same person repeats the sin, he naturally creates an enemy. What is Proverbs 17:9 saying exactly?

If you truly want forgiveness, sin no more. If you keep sinning against someone, you will create an enemy out of him, its only natural. Friends are close, enemies are kept at a distance. Pro. 17:9 also shows how we look in Yah’s eyes when we continue sinning against him. You are not repenting of your sin if you keep repeating it.

Proverbs 28:13

He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

Proverbs 28:13 explains how its just not enough to cover sin, you must acknowledge it and forsake it.

Isaiah 55;7

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Isaiah 55:7 speaks about forgiveness, but first it says “forsaking your way”. which is wickedness. You can only return to Yahuah if you put away your sin. When it comes to man, you should only seek forgiveness if you stopped repeating an offense. If Yahuah forgives only once you stop sinning, how much more can a man forgive you if you continue being offensive? No one wants to get hurt or willingly feel pain. It is only for your good health to separate yourself from someone who is continually evil against you. This doctrine of forgiving someone without them repenting is not in the Old Testament and its only natural. The Old Testament doesn’t teach you to be a push over.

Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

If you love someone you try not to offend them.  Showing love covers the sin. Love is caring, peaceful, thoughtful and genuine.

What should you do if someone doesn’t repent against offending you?

Holding a grudge is not good for your health. What we read in these few scriptures is that the proper way to deal with someone constantly offending you is to separate and not be their friend. Why? So they don’t hurt you anymore. You don’t need to think about it, you don’t need to worry about anyone not lining up with you. Let them live their lives and don’t give them an opportunity to hurt you again. Only someone who truly acknowledges and repents for what they did is even worthy of forgiveness.

Should you seek revenge?

If someone offends you to the point of breaking the law, the law is supposed to give you justice. It’s righteous to execute lawful vengeance. In the bible, if someone murders your nearest kin, you are responsible for seeking revenge. That is called Justice. The New Testament teaches otherwise because the New Testament is a doctrine of devils and not of Yahuah. Yahuah’s name is not in it. How dare JC quote the law “an eye for an eye” and then teach against it! And then so many people back it up.

It is not unrighteous to punish the wicked for their sins. It’s wicked for someone to live their lives without closure. A murdered relative is avenaged by his surviving relative

Proverbs 17:17

A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

If the surviving relative forgives the murderer and he goes off free. He is unworthy to be called a “near kin”. This land isn’t about keeping the Torah (Thurath) It is about corruption so of course justice isn’t often executed. The poor family who has to see a criminal free after serving only a few years. They are never comforted while the murderer lives.
