Is Makeup a Sin? Why Wearing Makeup is not Glorious

makeup

If you have nothing to offer and you are a low-value woman with just a face, you will do everything to put that face forward, but why not develop yourself and who you are? Why do you place so much worth in your vanity?

Is wearing Makeup a sin? Is it a sin to wear make up?

No. There is no law saying that it is a sin, but there are many scriptures that show us the type of women who wear them. People who study the bible are wise to back away from those who wear makeup. Why? Come learn for yourself…

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. – Psalms 139:14

Do you not have any confidence in your beauty? Do you not love yourself enough to show your true face? Why do you feel the need to wear makeup? There is makeup that is light and not extreme and very natural, but I find that most women who even wear that there something is wrong with their heart. Why are so many Yahuah-fearing women going without makeup and so many questionable women, wearing makeup.

Do you not care what Yahuah thinks of you? Does Yahuah care about your outer appearance?

Who are you trying to impress? In 1 Samuel 16, Yahuah sends Samuel the honored prophet in Israel to go to Jesse and make one of his sons King of Israel. What I find interesting is that Yahuah did not tell Samuel which son he choose. Why do you think he kept that a secret until he saw all of his sons? It was an opportunity to teach Samuel a lesson and now it is your opportunity.

1 Samuel 16:

1And Yahuah said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons. 2And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And Yahuah said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to Yahuah. 3And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee. 4And Samuel did that which Yahuah spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably? 5And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto Yahuah: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.

6And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely Yahuah’S anointed is before him. 7But Yahuah said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for Yahuah seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but Yahuah looketh on the heart. 8Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath Yahuah chosen this. 9Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath Yahuah chosen this. 10Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Yahuah hath not chosen these. 11And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.

12And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And Yahuah said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. 13Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of Yahuah came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

So you see, men who are big and strong are not honored by Yahuah. Yahuah choose a little boy to be king over his own people. Yahuah looks in the heart of man. Make your heart beautiful, not so much your face. Yahuah is the one who can reward you. What can a man really give you for your beauty? and doesn’t that fade?

In Jeremiah 4, Yahuah said the earth would mourn and the heavens would be black. Every city will be forsaken and even a man there. What will you do then with the painting of your face? Who will save you? Why did Yahuah speak “ill” toward a woman wearing makeup on the day that he brings destruction? It doesn’t seem like he is pleased with that kind of woman. Why not seek Yahuah’s mercy, why put all your time and money into fakeup? In the end what does it profit you?

Jeremiah 4:

28For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

29The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.

30And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.

31For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.

Why be like Jezebel? You have seen the type of woman to be adorned with makeup. You could be a good woman, but when you wear makeup, people who read the bible are reminded of Jezebel. Don’t hate the messenger. This is the truth.

2 Kings 9:30

And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

Look at the women described in Isaiah 3. She was very vain. I love to dress up and look good, but that is not my focus. If I didn’t come into the truth, I would be that vain woman. Praise Yahuah I know my worth and value my time. I have so much to do and accomplish than to give myself to thing that will not profit me.  Decking yourself is not what Yahuah wants you to do. He punished the woman of Israel because they were haughty and thought too highly of themselves. They did not work on their heart as they did their face and clothes. Yahuah took it all away from them. Why? So the daughters of Israel can work on their spirit. Now that we are able to attain them, why have so many gone back to the haughty ways and didn’t learn from the mistakes of their anestors?

Isaiah 3:1

16Moreover Yahuah saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

17Therefore Yahuah will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and Yahuah will discover their secret parts.

18In that day Yahuah will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, 19The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers, 20The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, 21The rings, and nose jewels, 22The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, 23The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.

24And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.

25Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

26And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.

Enoch 8:1

Moreover Azazyel taught men to make swords, knives, shields, breastplates, the fabrication of mirrors, and the workmanship of bracelets and ornaments, the use of paint, the beautifying of the eyebrows, the use of stones of every valuable and select kind, and of all sorts of dyes, so that the world became altered.

The Simple Woman will Cheat on you

The woman described in Proverbs 7 is a low value woman. You can imagine that she wore make up and sexy clothes. The scriptures says she dressed like a whore. When a man marry’s a shallow woman who isn’t about learning wisdom or gaining skills, he puts himself in danger of being cheated on.

Proverbs 7:4-27

Proverbs 31:30

30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth Yahuah, she shall be praised.

31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

What is the point of dressing up extravagantly and wearing makeup if your mind is simple? Be a high-value woman mentioned in Proverbs 31. Learn some skills, read some how-to books, learn to be kind and care for the helpless, and plant a garden. Show off your crafts not your “behind”. A high-value man does not care about your makeup. He does not care how sexy you look. Men who are losers in life will be a whoremonger and you will find each other.

Whore = Whoremonger

The two were made for each other. They go to the pits of hell together.
