If you say you are a Christian, you should Keep the Torah Laws

If you say you are a Christian you should Keep the Torah Laws

Many Christians believe they don’t have to keep the Torah Laws because they also believe Jesus died for their sins.  This allows them to be “free” from the law, but this was not the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament.

If you say you follow Jesus, you should read what Jesus is quoted to have said.  Jesus refers to the Torah Laws when he said…

Matthew 4:4

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of Yahuah.

Deuteronomy 8:3

8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of Yahuah doth man live.

Matthew 4:10

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship Yahuah thy Alaheym, and him only shalt thou serve.

Deuteronomy 6:13

Thou shalt fear Yahuah thy Alaheym, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

JESUS DIRECTED HIS FOLLOWERS TO KEEP THE TORAH LAWS

Matthew 5:17-18

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

JESUS RECOMMENDS THAT YOU READ THE OLD TESTAMENT

Speaking in a parable, Jesus mentions Moses & the Prophets, referring to Genesis – Deuteronomy (Moses) and Joshuah to Malachi (the Prophets).  He said you can’t save anyone if they don’t even obey Moses & the Prophets (Old Testament).

Luke16:29

Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.  30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

WHAT THE OLD TESTAMENT SAYS ABOUT KEEPING THE LAWS OF YAH?

Proverbs 6:23

For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

 Proverbs 4:13

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

 Deuteronomy 4:1-2

4:1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which Yahuah Alaheym of your fathers giveth you.

4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Yahuah your Alaheym which I command you.

Malachi 4:4

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Isaiah 42:21

Yahuah is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Proverbs 3:1

1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:  2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

WHY ARE YAH’S PEOPLE DESTROYED?

Jeremiah 32:23

And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them.

Hosea 4:6

4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy Elohim, I will also forget thy children.

YOU ARE BLESSED IF YOU KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS

Ecclesiates 8:5

Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.

Proverbs 13:13

Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

Proverbs 8:32-34

32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. 33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.  34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.  35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of Yahuah.  36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

THE CONCLUSION?

Worship Yahuah & Keep his Commandments.  Jesus taught from the old testament books & quoted the prophets from Joshua to Malachi.  He has confirmed that you should obey Yahuah and Keep his commandments.  End of story.

Isaiah 50:10

Who is among you that feareth Yahuah, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of Yahuah, and stay upon his Alaheym.

FUTURE PROPHESIES OF PRAYING IN THE NAME OF YAHUAH

Isaiah 56:6

Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to Yahuah, to serve him, and to love the name of Yahuah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

7 Even them will I bring to my set-apart mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Shalom to all!
