Put Away the Evil or Evil Person from Among You!
- I will review the scriptures that speaks about Putting Away Someone for a Sin worthy of Death, by means of Death. However, I am not advocating putting someone to death, just reviewing the Laws of Putting Away & the fact that it meant death.
Jeremiah 4:1
If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith יהוה, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.
Job 22:
21Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
22Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
23If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
The Judgment of Death
The judgement of death was made to Put Away the Evil from Among יהוה’s People. You see this pattern in the scriptures.
MURDER:
Deuteronomy 19:13
Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.
FALSE WITNESS:
Deuteronomy 19:19
Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
REBELLIOUS SON
Deuteronomy 21:21
And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
PLAYING THE WHORE IN FATHERS HOUSE
Deuteronomy 22:21
Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.
STEALING A MAN
Deuteronomy 24:7
If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.
FALSE PROPHET:
Deuteronomy13:5
And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from יהוה your Alaheym, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which יהוה thy Alaheym commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
We are responsible to bring our nearest kin and even our own husband or wife into the hands of judgment if they seek after another god and try to convert others. This is a major crime
Deuteronomy:13:6
If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other Alaheym, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
7 Namely, of the Alaheym of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from יהוה thy Alaheym, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.
ABOMINABLE SACFRICE:
Deuteronomy 17:7
The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.
OBEY JUDGEMENT:
Deuteronomy 17:12
And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before יהוה thy Alaheym, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
BETHROTH WIFE, ADULTERY
Deuteronomy 22:24
Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
How is it possible to fulfill the greatest commandment, if someone entices you to leave יהוה? We will not play this backsliding game in the kingdom when Yahuah brings our people into glory.

Ye shall walk after יהוה your Alaheym, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
Deuteronomy 6:
4 Hear, O Israel: יהוה is our Alaheym, יהוה is one:
5 And thou shalt love יהוה thy Alaheym with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

Deuteronomy 22:22
If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.
If Adultery meant Death, what was divorce for?
Deuteronomy 24
1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.
Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Job 28:28
And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
CAN A WOMAN PUT AWAY HER HUSBAND?
It is clear according to the Torah, a man can have more than one wife. A man can not commit adultery by taken another wife. So according to the law, a woman can’t put away her husband for taken another wife. SOME SAY, A WOMAN CAN NOT PUT AWAY HER HUSBAND at all ACCORDING TO THE LAW. Is this true according this scripture?…

If you believe a woman can’t put away her husband, then you are saying, that a wife is suppose to conceal her husband’s sin or have pity on his sin, even if he is enticing her to leave יהוה. If you believe this, .
THEN WHO IS COMMANDED TO KEEP THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT? ONLY MEN?
Men & Women alike are commanded to put away anyone, who entices you to leave יהוה & his laws.
Friend, brother, sister, daughter, son, wife or husband.
You can not keep the 1st Commandment if you are married to a Man or Woman who entices us to leave יהוה.
Women & men are commanded to put יהוה first above all.
We can not love anybody more our Creator. Can we judge anyone for a sin worthy of death? Are we in Israel? Are we able to execute judgments of the law? All we can do is separate & put away evil from our house, or flesh & our lives.
Amos 3:3
Can to walk together, unless they agree?
Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: יהוה is our Alaheym, יהוה is one:
5 And thou shalt love יהוה thy Alaheym with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Ecclesiastes 11:10
Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh:
Job 11:13
If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
14If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
