How soon can a woman get married?

Answer: There isn’t a torah law that states an age for a anyone to get married, but the scriptures do refer to a child being 20 years and under.

It would be wise to not rush into a marriage, especially if you have school and you are still trying to figure out what you want to do in your life, however, It is better to get married though, then to be a promiscuous woman.

MEN ARE REQUIRED TO ASK THE FATHER FOR PERMISSION TO MARRY HIS DAUGHTER

A man interested in a young virginal woman is required by the Torah Law to ask her father for the daughters hand in marriage and pay the dowry of virgins.

What happens if a man sleeps with a virgin before marriage?

Answer: The father has the option to refuse this man, but the father is still entitled to receive the dowry of virgins. This law protects the father’s daughter because it discourages men from sleeping with his virginal daughter without asking him, because he has a right to refuse.

BEWARE OF THE MISCONCEPTION:

Many people read Exodus 22:16-17 and think that having sex makes you married, but this is not the case. If the father refuses as is his right to, there will be no marriage. So having sex can not make you married.

BEWARE OF THE MISCONCEPTION:

Deuteronomy 22:28 is often more than not, thought of as rape, but this is the same situation as Exodus 22:16-17. The man entices a young virgin who was not betrothed to another man and they sleep together. The man is required to pay the dowry as in Exodus 22:16-17. The father still has the right to refuse as stated in Exodus 22:16-17.

The people who believe this scripture is saying a woman is required to marry her rapist, are not thinking straight. If that was the case than they are saying the father can’t refuse when a woman is raped. That is barbaric and sick! This verse is poorly translated in Old English and when we read it, we may think its speaking about a woman being raped.

What kind of woman were the priests required to marry?

Answer: Virgin

The priest were a set-apart class of citizens of Yah.  They were very special and highly praise. They could only marriage virgins.

ADULTERY IS NOT A CAUSE FOR A DIVORCE IN TORAH LAW

Adultery is a Death Punishment. The divorce law was given for those marriages that weren’t “made in heaven” so to speak.  Adultery judgements were delivered by the men of the city, stoning the woman and her lover to death.  We do not live in this type of culture, so if your wife commits adultery, just divorce her.  Let her fall into Yah’s hands. 

ADULTERY JUDGEMENT:

Deuteronomy 22:[22]

If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

[23] If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

[24] Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

NOTE:

It should be noted that a man married to a woman can not commit adultery against her because he can have more than one wife according to Torah. A husband only commits adultery if he takes another man’s wife.

 

 

#2 VIRGINAL WIFE, NOT A VIRGIN

Lying About Being a Virgin comes with a Death Judgement

 

Deuteronomy 22:13-21

[13] If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,

#3 IF YOUR SPOUSE ENTICES YOU TO LEAVE YHWH  TO SERVE A FALSE ELOHIM (god)

There are many judgments in the Torah that comes with a death penalty.  That of course will end the marriage.

Deuteronomy:13:6

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other elohim, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;

7 Namely, of the elohim of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;

A woman must scream for help if she is going to be raped. If she can’t scream, she must tell someone once she has escaped.  Otherwise, it appears as if she was in one consent with the man that lay with her.  If the scriptures doesn’t indicate that the woman is being forced because she does not scream, than it is not rape.

UNTIL DEATH DO YOU PART, YOU CAN NOT DIVORCE A WOMAN WHOM YOU HUMBLED WHEN SHE WAS A VIRGIN, BY NOT ASKING HER FATHER FOR HER HAND IN MARRIAGE BEFORE SLEEPING WITH HER

Deuteronomy 22:[28]

If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

[29] Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days

 

ADULTERY JUDGEMENT

 

If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

[23] If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

[24] Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.- Deuteronomy 22:22-24

 

IF YOUR SPOUSE ENTICES YOU TO LEAVE YHWH  TO SERVE A FALSE ELOHIM (god), HE MUST BE KILLED

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other elohim, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; 7 Namely, of the elohim of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;

8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from YHWH thy Elohim, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you. –  Deuteronomy:13:6

YHWH GAVE MAN A WOMAN TO MARRY, as it is written,

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. – Genesis 2:23-24

 

YOU MAY NOT SLEEP WITH A MAN AS YOU WOULD WITH A WOMAN, as it is written, Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. – Leviticus 18:22

 

DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH ANIMALS, as it is written…

Leviticus 18:23

[23] Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.[24] Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

DO NOT MARRY YOUR NEAREST RELATIVES, as it is written…

None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am YHWH. – Leviticus 18:6-19
