One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

לא יקום עד אחד באיש לכל עון ולכל חטאת בכל חטא אשר יחטא על פי שני עד ים או על פי שלשה עד ים יקום דבר׃

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

לא תענה ברעך עד שקר׃

Leviticus וי קרא (u’Ye-QuRA) 19:11

Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

לא תגנבו ולא תכחשו ולא תשקרו איש בעמיתו׃

[16] Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am יהוה (Yahuah).

לא תלך רכיל בעמיך לא תעמד על דם רעך אני יהוה׃

Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.

[15] One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

[16] If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;

[17] Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before יהוה (Yahuah), before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

[18] And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

[19] Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

[20] And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.

[21] And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

15לא יקום עד אחד באיש לכל עון ולכל חטאת בכל חטא אשר יחטא על פי שני עד ים או על פי שלשה עד ים יקום דבר׃

16כי יקום עד חמס באיש לענ ות בו סרה׃

17ועמדו שני האנשים אשר להם הריב לפני יהוה לפני הכהנים והשפטים אשר יהיו בימים ההם׃

18ודרשו השפטים היטב והנה עד שקר העד שקר ענה באחיו׃

19ועשיתם לו כאשר זמם לעש ות לאחיו ובערת הרע מקרבך׃

20וה נשארים ישמעו ויראו ולא יספו לעש ות עוד כדבר הרע הזה בקרבך׃

21ולא תחוס עינך נפש בנפש עין בעין שן בשן יד ביד רגל ברגל׃

Exodus 23:1-3

1Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. 2Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment: 3You shall not show partiality to a poor man in his dispute.

1לא תשא שמע שוא אל תשת ידך עם רשע להית עד חמס׃

2לא תהיה אחרי רב ים לרעת ולא תענה על רב לנטת אחרי רב ים להטת׃
