We, who are righteous, should love the Righteous Yahuah-fearing people over the Wicked.

This should go without saying, however, there are some who actually prefer the company of the wicked. This should be a sign to you that they are likely not serious about Yahuah. I see it personally in my life and it is very blatant. If you say you are righteous and keep the commandments, your friends should not be wicked. You would prefer the company of people who will speak about Yahuah over those who don’t give a dam.

Psalms 26:

4I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

5I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

Proverbs 13:20

He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

Your wicked friend will not influence or inspire you to be righteous. Is that something you don’t mind?  You might not be firmly grounded

Proverbs 27:17

Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Isaiah 33:15-16

15He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

16He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

Proverbs 11:9

An profane with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

Proverbs 21:21

He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

Proverbs 10:32

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.

I don’t want to hear the “sacrifices of fools”. I hate to have company with the wicked, but I can hang out all day with those who are in the scriptures. I don’t get bored talking about the bible. I can speak about topics pertaining to righteousness and his laws. I will want to wonder how the future will be when Yahuah returns, but these types of conversions and wonders can not be had with the wicked. Instead, they conversate in vanity and foolishness.

It is nice to spend time with the family, but they live in the past. How I was when I was younger. They don’t want me to bring up the bible because they would have to acknowledge their sins. I can’t stand being too long with my own family because of this. I love them and will do much for them. I am there when they need me, but their influence isn’t for Yahuah.

Ecclesiastes 7:5

It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.

We must prefer the righteous if we are righteous

Psalms 119:63

am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

Leviticus 19:18

Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am Yahuah.

I am here to tell you,

If you prefer the wicked, it is because you are wicked!

Proverbs 16:8

Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

Proverbs 25:12

As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

The Benefits of Being Friends with the Righteous

Psalms 141:5

Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

Psalms 37:1-40

א

Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

ב

3Trust in Yahuah, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4Delight thyself also in Yahuah; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

ג

5Commit thy way unto Yahuah; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

6And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

ד

7Rest in Yahuah, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

ה

8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

9For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon Yahuah, they shall inherit the earth.

ו

10For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

11But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

ז

12The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

13Yahuah shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

ח

14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

15Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

ט

16A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but Yahuah upholdeth the righteous.

י

18Yahuah knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

19They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

כ

20But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Yahuah shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

ל

21The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

22For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

מ

23The steps of a good man are ordered by Yahuah: and he delighteth in his way.

24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for Yahuah upholdeth him with his hand.

נ

25I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

26He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

ס

27Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

28For Yahuah loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

29The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

פ

30The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

31The law of his Alaheym is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

צ

32The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

33Yahuah will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

ק

34Wait on Yahuah, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

ר

35I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

36Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

ש

37Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

38But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

ת

39But the salvation of the righteous is of Yahuah: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

40And Yahuah shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Friendship with the Wicked

Proverbs 10:2

The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

Proverbs 9:8-9

8Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

9Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

Proverbs 1:

1The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;

2To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

3To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

4To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

5A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

6To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

7The fear of Yahuah is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

The Enticement of Sin

8My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

9For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.

10My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

11If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:

12Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:

13We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:

14Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:

15My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:

16For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

17Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.

18And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.

19So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

Wisdom Calls Aloud

20Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:

21She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,

22How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

23Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

24Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

25But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

26I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

29For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of Yahuah:

30They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

31Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

32For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

33But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
