Thou Shalt Not Covet or Thou shalt not Touch ?

This law is not speaking concerning “desire”, but touch!  “Take pleasure in” or “Touch” would be the better translation. 

the Manakahthey word חמד “KahMaD” means “touch and leave” or “take pleasure in”, its worse than just coveting. You wouldn’t know this by looking in Strong’s Concordance, nor any translation.  The symbols tell you the definition of חמד (KahMaD). To read symbols like I just did see “Primitive Sign Language Vol. 1 Etymology of Ancient Biblical Hebrew”.

Exodus שמות (ShuMuTh) 20:17

Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

ולא תחמד אשת רעך ולא תתאוה בית רעך שדהו ועבדו ואמתו שורו וחמרו וכל אשר לרעך׃

Sin starts in the mind, in the thoughts of course, don’t set to heart that which is unlawful and you won’t take pleasure in your neighbor’s things.
