REMEMBER THE 7th DAY ShaBaTh, as it is written…

Exodus שמות (ShuMuTh) 20:8-11

8 Remember the ShaBaTh day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the ShaBaTh of יהוה (Yahuah) thy Alaheym: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days יהוה (Yahuah) made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore יהוה (Yahuah) blessed the ShaBaTh day, and hallowed it.

8זכור את יום השבת לקדשו׃

9ששת ימים תעבד ועשית כל מלאכתך׃

10ויום השביעי שבת ליהוה אלהיך לא תעשה כל מלא כה אתה ובנך ובתך עבדך ואמתך ובהמתך וגרך אשר בשעריך׃

11כי ששת ימים עשה יהוה את השמים ואת הארץ את הים ואת כל אשר בם וינח ביום השביעי על כן ברך יהוה את יום השבת וי קדשהו׃

Exodus שמות (ShuMuTh) 23:

[12] Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

WHAT IS WORK? WHAT ARE WE RESTING FROM DOING?

Exodus שמות (ShuMuTh) 34:21

Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest:in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

21ששת ימים תעבד וביום השביעי תשבת בחריש ובקציר תשבת׃

Translated Word = Manakahthey Word = Strong Concordance Meaning

rest = ShaBaTh = to cease, desist, rest

earning time = KahReySh {kah-reysh’} = ploughing time

I don’t see this meaning in the Manakahthey symbols. I see that the symbols are saying

“ש= separate ב= in ת=rest”

come together in house, implying to leave from working. Work is usually done by going out.

Leviticus וי קרא (u’Ye-QuRA) 23:1-3

1 And יהוה (Yahuah) spake unto Moses משה (MaShaH), saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the Mu’ID of יהוה (Yahuah), which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my Mu’IDs.3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the ShaBaTh of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the ShaBaTh of יהוה (Yahuah) in all your dwellings.

17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days יהוה (Yahuah) made heaven and earth, & on the seventh day he rested, & was refreshed. 18 And he gave unto Moses משה (MaShaH), when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of Alaheym.

7th Day ShaBaTh is a Set-apart Day;

No work shall be done

Exodus שמות (ShuMuTh) 35:2-3

[2] Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a ShaBaTh of rest to יהוה (Yahuah): whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.

[3] Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the ShaBaTh day.

[15] And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that יהוה (Yahuah) thy Alaheym brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore יהוה (Yahuah) thy Alaheym commanded thee to keep the ShaBaTh day.

Prepare ahead of time for the ShaBaTh

Exodus שמות (ShuMuTh) 16:1

And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second KahDaSh after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses משה (MaShaH) and Aaron in the wilderness:

3 And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to Alaheym we had died by the hand of יהוה (Yahuah) in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

4 Then said יהוה (Yahuah) unto Moses משה (MaShaH), Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.

6 And Moses משה (MaShaH) and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that יהוה (Yahuah) hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:

7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of יהוה (Yahuah); for that he heareth your murmurings against יהוה (Yahuah): and what are we, that ye murmur against us?

8 And Moses משה (MaShaH) said, This shall be, when יהוה (Yahuah) shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that יהוה (Yahuah) heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against יהוה (Yahuah).

9 And Moses משה (MaShaH) spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before יהוה (Yahuah): for he hath heard your murmurings. 10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of יהוה (Yahuah) appeared in the cloud. 11 And יהוה (Yahuah) spake unto Moses משה (MaShaH), saying, 12 I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am יהוה (Yahuah) your Alaheym.

13 And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host. 14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. 15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they knew not what it was. And Moses משה (MaShaH) said unto them, This is the bread which יהוה (Yahuah) hath given you to eat.

16 This is the thing which יהוה (Yahuah) hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents. 17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less. 18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.19 And Moses משה (MaShaH) said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. 20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses משה (MaShaH); but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses משה (MaShaH) was wroth with them.

21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.

1ויסעו מאילם ויבאו כל עדת בני ישראל אל מדבר סין אשר בין אילם ובין סיני בחמשה עשר יום לחדש השני לצאתם מארץ מצרים׃ 2וילינו כל עדת בני ישראל על משה ועל אהרן במדבר׃ 3וי אמרו אלהם בני ישראל מי יתן מות נו ביד יהוה בארץ מצרים בשב תנו על סיר הבשר באכל נו לחם לשבע כי הוצאתם את נו אל המדבר הזה להמית את כל הקהל הזה ברעב׃

4וי אמר יהוה אל משה הנני ממטיר לכם לחם מן השמים ויצא העם ולקטו דבר יום ביומו למען אנסנו הילך בתורתי אם לא׃ 5והיה ביום הששי וה כי נו את אשר יביאו והיה משנה על אשר ילקטו יום יום׃ 6וי אמר משה ואהרן אל כל בני ישראל ערב וידעתם כי יהוה הוציא אתכם מארץ מצרים׃ 7ובקר וראיתם את כבוד יהוה בשמעו את תלנתיכם על יהוה ונחנו מה כי תלונו עלינו׃

8וי אמר משה בתת יהוה לכם בערב בשר לאכל ולחם בבקר לשבע בשמע יהוה את תלנתיכם אשר אתם מלינם עליו ונחנו מה לא עלינו תלנתיכם כי על יהוה׃

9וי אמר משה אל אהרן אמר אל כל עדת בני ישראל קרבו לפני יהוה כי שמע את תלנתיכם׃ 10ויהי כדבר אהרן אל כל עדת בני ישראל ויפנו אל המדבר והנה כבוד יהוה נראה בענן׃ 11וי דבר יהוה אל משה לאמר׃ 12שמעתי את תלונת בני ישראל דבר אלהם לאמר בין הערב ים תאכלו בשר ובבקר תשבעו לחם וידעתם כי אני יהוה אלהיכם׃

6th Day 2x’s as Much was Gathered

22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses משה (MaShaH). 23 And he said unto them, This is that which יהוה (Yahuah) hath said, To morrow is the rest of the set-apart ShaBaTh unto יהוה (Yahuah): bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses משה (MaShaH) bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein. 25 And Moses משה (MaShaH) said, Eat that to day; for to day is a ShaBaTh unto יהוה (Yahuah): to day ye shall not find it in the field.

26 Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the ShaBaTh, in it there shall be none.27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. 28 And יהוה (Yahuah) said unto Moses משה (MaShaH), How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? 29 See, for that יהוה (Yahuah) hath given you the ShaBaTh, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

30 So the people rested on the seventh day.

31 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey. 32 And Moses משה (MaShaH) said, This is the thing which יהוה (Yahuah) commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.

33 And Moses משה (MaShaH) said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before יהוה (Yahuah), to be kept for your generations. 34 As יהוה (Yahuah) commanded Moses משה (MaShaH), so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept. 35 And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan. 36 Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.

22ויהי ביום הששי לקטו לחם משנה שני העמר לאחד ויבאו כל נשיאי העדה וי גידו למשה׃ 23וי אמר אלהם הוא אשר דבר יהוה שבתון שבת קדש ליהוה מחר את אשר תאפו אפו ואת אשר תבשלו בשלו ואת כל העדף הניחו לכם למשמרת עד הבקר׃ 24ויניחו אתו עד הבקר כאשר צוה משה ולא הבאיש ורמה לא היתה בו׃ 25וי אמר משה אכלהו היום כי שבת היום ליהוה היום לא תמצאהו בשדה׃ 26ששת ימים תלקטהו וביום השביעי שבת לא יהיה בו׃
