Show Love and Kindness

These are the commandments in the Old Testament about Showing Love and Kindness.  The show love & kindness laws can be summarized in these by Loving יהוה (Yahuah), Not Hating your Brother, Teach your Neighbor Repentance, Do Not Seek Revenge, Do Not Hold a Grudge, Love Your Neighbors as Yourself, Keep Safe Lost & Found Items, Give a Helping Hand, Help Your Enemies. יהוה (Yahuah) commanded Moses to bring his people theses laws; which is why it is sometimes referred to as “the Law of Moses”
Deuteronomy דברים (DaBaR’eyM) 4:8
And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
8ומי גוי גדול אשר לו חקים ומשפטים צדיקם ככל התורה הזאת אשר אנכי נתן לפניכם היום׃

LOVE יהוה (Yahuah)

Deuteronomy דברים (DaBaR’eyM) 10:12-13

And now, Israel, what doth יהוה (Yahuah) thy Alaheym require of thee, but to fear יהוה (Yahuah) thy Alaheym, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve יהוה (Yahuah) thy Alaheym with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
To keep the commandments of יהוה (Yahuah), and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

12ועתה ישראל מה יהוה אלהיך שאל מעמך כי אם ליראה את יהוה אלהיך ללכת בכל דרכיו ולאהבה אתו ולעבד את יהוה אלהיך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשך׃

13לשמר את מצות יהוה ואת חקתיו אשר אנכי מצוך היום לטוב לך׃

 
Deuteronomy דברים (DaBaR’eyM) 11:1
Therefore thou shalt love יהוה (Yahuah) thy Alaheym, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

1ואהבת את יהוה אלהיך ושמרת משמרתו וחקתיו ומשפטיו ומצותיו כל הימים׃

Deuteronomy דברים (DaBaR’eyM) 6:
[4] Hear, O Israel: יהוה (Yahuah) our Alaheym is one יהוה (Yahuah):
[5] And thou shalt love יהוה (Yahuah) thy Alaheym with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

DO NOT HATE YOUR BROTHER IN YOUR HEART,

as it is written ,

“Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

– Leviticus ויקרא (u’Ye-QuRA) 19:17

17לא תשנא את אחיך בלבבך הוכח תוכיח את עמיתך ולא תשא עליו חטא׃

TEACH REPENTANCE TO YOUR NEIGHBOR

as it is written,

“Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

– Leviticus ויקרא (u’Ye-QuRA) 19:17

17לא תשנא את אחיך בלבבך הוכח תוכיח את עמיתך ולא תשא עליו חטא׃

DO NOT SEEK REVENGE

as it is written,

“Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am יהוה (Yahuah).”

DO NOT HOLD A GRUDGE

LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF

as it is written,

KEEP SAFE: LOST & FOUND ITEMS

as it is written,

“Thou shalt not see the brother’s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.  And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again. In like manner shalt thou do with his donkey; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother’s, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

Deuteronomy דברים (DaBaR’eyM) 22:1-3

1לא תראה את שור אחיך או את שיו נדחים והתעלמת מהם השב תשיבם לאחיך׃

2ואם לא קרוב אחיך אליך ולא ידעתו ואספתו אל תוך ביתך והיה עמך עד דרש אחיך אתו והשבתו לו׃

3וכן תעשה לחמרו וכן תעשה לשמלתו וכן תעשה לכל אבדת אחיך אשר תאבד ממנו ומצאתה לא תוכל להתעלם׃

GIVE A HELPING HAND

Thou shalt not see thy brother’s donkey or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again”

– Deuteronomy דברים (DaBaR’eyM) 22:4

4לא תראה את חמור אחיך או שורו נפלים בדרך והתעלמת מהם הקם תקים עמו׃

HELP YOUR ENEMIES:

as it is written,

  If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.  [5] If thou see the donkey of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

– Exodus שמות (ShuMuTh) 23:4-5

4כי תפגע שור איבך או חמרו תעה השב תשיבנו לו׃

5כי תראה חמור שנאך רבץ תחת משאו וחדלת מעזב לו עזב תעזב עמו׃
